Ralph L. Davidson

Ralph L. Davidson, 82, went to be with his Heavenly Father on July 8, 2021 at his home. He was born on October 28, 1938 in Burkesville, KY to Bud and Mary (Bliss-Vincent) Davidson. He married the love of his life, Sharon Arnold, on January 22, 1966 in Anderson, IN. Ralph faithfully served our country in the United States Army as a Hawk Missile Tech in Key West, FL. Ralph worked in the hardening department for Nicholson File for 24 years. He and his wife also owned and operated R&S Cleaning Service for a number of years. Ralph found his spiritual home at Central Community Chapel where he was a faithful member for many years. He loved woodworking, fishing, and reading his Bible. Above all, Ralph loved his family and loved his church. Ralph will be dearly missed by his wife, Sharon; his children, Kevin (Twyla) Davidson and Michelle Thomas; his son-in-law, Raymond Scott Chanley; his brother, John (Anna Parkhurst) Davidson; his grandchildren, Kiara, Brytan, Kristofer, Jayden, Ariana, Paige, Joseph, and Shelby; his 5 great-grandhcildren; his sister-in-law, Phyllis Lane; his friends, who were more like family, Joe Hennis and Joshua Epperly; and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents; his daughter, Melinda Chanley; his grandson, Sterling Andrew; and his brother, William “Bill” and Cortis “Shorty” Davidson. The funeral ceremony will be private for family, but a celebration of life will be held at Central Community Chapel on July 17, 2021 beginning at 3:00 p.m. Memorial contributions in Ralph’s name may be gifted to Central Community Chapel.
