Mrs. Polly Ann Keesling

Polly Ann Keesling, age 66, of Columbia, Tennessee. went home to be with the Lord on December 8th after struggling with three courageous battles with Cancer. She was the daughter of Henry Owen Stone and Thelma (Scott) Pope. She was born in Columbia, Kentucky and moved to Indiana at an early age. She graduated from Anderson High School in 1968 and was an Indianette in the Anderson High School Band. Graduated from Apex Beauty School in 1969. She was a Hair Dresser for more than 30 years in the Anderson Area including: Finnish Touch and Company, Jade, also was a co-owner at Hair Quarters and More with her late friend, Barbara Jackson. She attended North Anderson Church of God and then attended Grace Nazarene in Columbia, Tennessee She moved 17 ½ years ago to Columbia, Tennessee She began working as a Maury County School Bus Driver for 3 ½ years and as an assistant school teacher. Polly then chose to follow her dream of becoming a Registered Nurse, and attended Columbia State and graduated in 2007. Work experience included, Maury Regional Hospital then moved to Maury Regional Wound Care Clinic, and retired in May 2016. Survived by her husband, Paul Keesling; her mother, Thelma (Scott) Pope; sister, Phyllis (husband, David) Welsheimer; children, Jason Keesling (Lisa), Ian Keesling (Lisa), Mike Lawrence (Jackie); grandchildren Ashton, Collin, Layton, Kory, Michael, Derrick; father-in-law, Jack Keesling; sisters-in-law, Susan Smith (David), Elaine Toles, Lisa Keesling (Mark). Childhood and lifelong friend; Brenda K. Henderson (husband, Cliff). Preceded in death by her father, Henry Owen Stone; step-father, Henry Clifton Pope; brother, Phillip Wayne Stone; and mother-in-law; Mary Keesling. The family wishes to give thanks and gratitude to friends, neighbors and co-workers who touched her life. Services will be 10:00 a.m. Tuesday, December 13 at Brown-Butz-Diedring Funeral Service & Crematory with Pastor David Reames officiating. Entombment will be at Anderson Memorial Park Cemetery. Visitation will be 4:00-8:00 p.m. Monday, December 12, at the Funeral Home.
