Phyllis M. Bryant

Phyllis M. Bryant, 95, of Anderson, passed away on May 25, 2018 at Community Northview Care Center. She was born in Fontanet, IN, the daughter of Louis C. and Grace (Small) Herb. She worked various jobs in the area including as a switchboard operator at Delco-Remy and as a salesperson/receptionist at NIPSCO. She was a pin-up girl for Delco-Remy during her time there. Phyllis is survived by her children, Sandra (Vearl) Beckham of Anderson and Phillip Haas of Cloverdale; grandchildren, Stacey Gilman and Tom (Debbie) Beckham, all of Anderson; great-grandchildren, Joshua, Jaelin, Aaron and Cassie; sister, Patsy Welsh; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; great-grandson, Dominic; brothers, Jerry and James; and sister, Donna “Jo”. Services will be at 12:00 pm Thursday, at Brown-Butz-Diedring Funeral Service & Crematory, 515 E. 53rd St., Anderson, IN 46013 with Pastor John Hackney officiating. Burial will follow at Anderson Memorial Park Cemetery. Visitation will be on Thursday from 10:00 am to 12:00 pm at the funeral home.
