Phyllis June Schmuck, 98, a lifelong resident of Anderson, went to be with her sweet Lord and Savior on January 26, 2020. She was known for her ministry of sending thoughtful cards and her gift of hospitality. She and her husband, Francis, shared 78 loving years of marriage before his passing in 2018. Always happiest when surrounded by family and friends, she didn’t know a stranger. Phyllis is survived by her children, Bradd (Betsy) Schmuck, Jann (Tom) Warmke and Lynn (Roger) Werking; nine grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren. In addition to her beloved Francis, she was preceded in death by her parents, Hobert and Luva Heiney; and sisters Vivian Griffin, Joanna Farmer and Barbara Bevelhimer. Many thanks to Sugar Fork Crossing and Paradigm Health for their loving care. Private family services were held. Memorial contributions may be made to the Christian Center of Anderson.
