Phyllis J. (Stanley) Staley, 89, of Anderson, passed away October 22, 2014 after a brief illness.

She was born July 21, 1925 in Anderson, the daughter of Fred and Rebecca (Tolbert) Stanley and lived in Anderson her entire life.

She was married to John H. Staley for 68 years and together they raised their family.

Phyllis is survived by her two daughters, Nikki (Jimmy) Richman and Cynthia (Steve) Granger, all of Anderson; grandchildren, Bruce (Michelle) Richman and Beth Richman; great-grandchild, Ryan (Casey) Richman; sister, Elizabeth Davis of Anderson; sisters-in-law, Maxine (Aaron) Holbrook of Mechanicsburg and Mary Craig of Anderson; and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her beloved John; brother, Tom Stanley; and her sisters, Vivian Swigart, Alice Bemish, Ann Temple and Ruth Browning.

Funeral Service will be at 2:00 pm on Monday at Brown-Butz-Diedring Funeral Service & Crematory with Chaplain Rob Mifflin officiating. Burial will follow at Anderson Memorial Park Cemetery.

Visitation will be from Noon – 2:00 pm on Monday at the funeral home.

Sympathies may be expressed in the form of contributions to the Anderson Education Foundation, 1600 Hillcrest Ave, Anderson, IN 46015.
