Peter Joseph Bianchi, 77, passed away Saturday, Jan. 2, 2021, in Chesterfield. He was born Jan. 3, 1943, in Mount Pleasant, Pennsylvania, to the late Peter and Frances M. (Costello) Bianchi. Peter was a veteran of the U.S. Army having served in Vietnam. He worked as an auto mechanic most of his life. He had been incredibly involved with the GSGSL Girl’s Softball League in Scottdale, Pennsylvania. He had coached for several years and had been past president of the league. Peter is survived by his wife, Nancy Lou (Whetsel) Bianchi; daughters, Melissa Stasko of Belle Vernon, Pennsylvania, Toni Bennett of Ellijay, Georgia, and Stephanie Rogers of Anderson; and grandchildren, Matthew Bianchi and Brock Stasko. He was preceded in death by his previous wife, Norma (Bodenheimer) Bianchi; and son, Peter Bianchi. Private arrangements were entrusted to Brown-Butz-Diedring Funeral Service & Crematory.
