Penny Jo Richeson, 69, of Anderson, passed away Sunday, May 13, 2018. She was born October 7, 1948, in Anderson, to the late Walter & Thelma (Siverling) Rumler. Penny worked for Naval Avionics, having retired after thirty years. She was very creative and loved crafts and decorating. She owned a craft store in downtown Pendleton for a few years. Penny was also known for her gardening skills and was awarded Yard of the Month from the Pendleton Garden Club. She liked traveling, loved her dogs, but most of all she loved spending time with her nieces and nephews. She is survived by her sister, Karen (husband, Bill) Baker; nieces, Belinda (husband, Brad) Cash & Kara (husband, Mike) Eisenhut; nephew, Chad (wife, Jami) Baker; six great nephews; and one great niece. Memorial services will be conducted at 6:00 p.m. Thursday, May 17, at Wilson St. Pierre Funeral Service & Crematory, Lahm Chapel, Pendleton. Visitation will be from 5:00 p.m. until time of services at the funeral home.Memorial contributions may be made to your local Humane Society or animal shelter.
