Paul S. Lennis, 88, of Anderson, passed away January 1, 2015 at his residence.
He was born October 26, 1926 in Perkinsville, the son of the late Daniel Ray and Lillian Audrey (Shell) Lennis, and lived in Madison County his entire life.
On June 27, 1947, he married the former Dina Likens and she preceded him in death on November 15, 2002.
Paul served in the U.S. Army and was a tool maker for 51years at Prime Battery. He was very mechanically-minded, as evidenced by his hobbies of restoring Model A Fords and rebuilding engines.
He is survived by his son, Gary (Carol) Lennis of Anderson; grandson, Jon Lennis of Anderson; and several nieces and nephews.
Graveside services will be 1 p.m. Thursday at Anderson Memorial Park Cemetery with Chaplain Ron May officiating.
Brown-Butz-Diedring Funeral Service & Crematory was entrusted with the arrangements of Paul’s funeral.
