Paul N. Stephenson

Paul N. Stephenson, 80, Lapel, passed away Wednesday, April 3, 2019, at Countryside Manor in Anderson following a courageous battle with cancer.
He was born on May 22, 1938, in Noblesville, Indiana to Glen Stephenson and Martha (Presser) Stephenson .
Paul graduated from Lapel High School class of 1956.
He retired from Davis Dairy after 25 years of service. After his retirement he worked at McIntire Trucking in Muncie.
Paul was a lifelong member of Trinity United Methodist Church, and the Lapel Lions Club.
He is survived by his wife of 61 years, Pat (Landes) Stephenson of Lapel, children; Greg (Jill) Stephenson of Anderson, Curt (Betty) Stephenson of Pendleton, Sharon (Rex) Spears of Fortville, and Paula (Gary) Ingle of Lapel; grandchildren, Amber Stiller, Alexa Norris, Joshua Stephenson, Blake Stephenson, Chase Stephenson, Spencer Stephenson, Matthew Spears, Brittany Spears, Ashley Spears, Lindsay Kinsinger, and Logan Ingle; 9 great-grandchildren and a great-grandaughter due next month . Paul was also survived by many nephews and their wives.
Paul was preceded in death by his parents, and a brother, Gene Stephenson .
A Funeral Service will be held at 10:30 AM on Monday, April 8, 2019, at Trinity United Methodist Church, 217 East 7th Street, Lapel, Indiana with Revs. Glenn Knepp and Larry Bracken officiating. Burial will follow in Brookside Cemetery, Lapel, IN.
Visitation will be from 2pm to 5pm on Sunday, April 7, 2019 at Scott E. Hersberger Funeral Home, 1010 N. Main St. Lapel, IN 46051 .
