Paul Fuller

May 12, 1940 — November 6, 2014

Paul, an avid aviator and a member of the Quiet Birdmen, who never die, but just fly west, departed November 6, 2014. He was born May 12, 1940, near Linwood Indiana, at home, the sixth of twelve children born to Donald and Xarreffa Fuller, who preceded him in death.

He is survived by his loving wife of forty years, Brenda; his son, Todd (Liz) Fuller; Grandson, Trent (Emily) Fuller; Granddaughter, Kelsey (Dan) Delaney and four great grandchildren, Lilith Fuller, Annalee Moore, Myles Fuller and Oliver Delaney.

Also surviving are his brothers, Estan (Linda) Fuller, John (Barb) Fuller, Lyman (Patty) Fuller and Larry Fuller; sisters, Jo Donaldson, Esther (Willis) Dodge, Phyllis (Jim) Wolfe, Jan Powell, Marty Goodpaster, many nieces and nephews, a special sister in law, LeaAnn Fricke, his “other wife”, Vickie Fowler and his beloved pet Scamper.

He was preceded in death by his brother, David Fuller amd infant sister, Sharon Fuller; brothers in law, Bud Donaldson and Bob Goodpaster, and nephew, Jeremiah Fuller.

Paul was employed as a corporate and commercial pilot and as a builder. He also served as Electrical Inspector for the City of Anderson. He ended his career flying for his much beloved nephew Marcus Fuller.

Paul was a life member of Aircraft Owners and Pilots Association; the Antique Aircraft Association; he was also a member of Experimental Aircraft Association, the Florida Antique Biplane Association, OX Five, the Vintage Aircraft Association, the Midwest Antique Airplane Club and Quiet Birdmen.

Paul also belonged to Daleville Masonic Lodge #730, Anderson York Rite, Murat Shrine Temple, Madison County Shrine Club, the Elks and American Legion. He also served in the Air National Guard.

Paul is survived by so many special friends whose support he has joyfully accepted over the last year. Their unceasing support has made the last year’s journey much easier to bear and on his behalf, Brenda thanks all of you.

Viewing hours are Monday November 10th from 4 – 8 pm at Brown-Butz – Diedring Funeral Service and Crematory, 515 E 53rd St., Anderson, Indiana.

A Celebration of Life Service will be held at First Pentecostal Church, Tuesday November 11th, 630 West 53rd St, Anderson, Indiana conducted by R. B. Bingham, Mike Bingham and Luke St. Clair.
Promptly at 3pm there will be a “Missing Man Flight” over the church by Steve Givens, Bill Hanna and Bob Snider. The flight over will be followed by a viewing from 3 – 4 pm. Services will be at 4pm. An old fashioned church dinner will be held at the church immediately after the service. Everyone is invited.

In lieu of flowers the family requests donations to PANCREATIC CANCER ACTION NETWORK, envelopes will be available. Brown – Butz – Diedring will perform the cremation.
