Paul Dwayne Thompson, 50, Noblesville, passed away Tuesday, September 22, 2015, at his home. He was born on December 20, 1964, in Elwood, Indiana to Wiley and Delores (Delaplane) Thompson. Paul was a U. S. Army veteran and had worked as a carpenter at Custom Cast Stone in Westfield, as a cashier at Vintage Wine and Spirits in Noblesville, and also at Kirby Machine Shop in Noblesville. He is survived by his mother and step-father, Delores and Austin Morgan of Noblesville; his father and step-mother, Wiley and Vicki Thompson of Noblesville; two children, Leslie Mendez of Oakridge, TN and Johnathan Thompson of Maryville, TN; one step-son, Christopher Dick of Maryville, TN; two brothers, Ray Thompson and David Thompson both of Noblesville; a half-brother, Matthew Thompson of San Antonio, TX; two half-sisters, Angela Stoehr of Houston, TX and Shellie Wellman of South Bend; and a special friend, Sandy Speer. A funeral service will be held at 6:00 pm Wednesday, September 30, 2015, at Scott E. Hersberger Funeral Home in Lapel with Rev. Neal Brown officiating. Burial will be in Perkinsville Cemetery, Anderson at a later date. Visitation will be from 5:00 pm to 6:00 pm Wednesday, September 30, 2015, at Scott E. Hersberger Funeral Home, 1010 North Main Street, Lapel. Memorial contributions may be made to American Heart Association.
