Paul David Fort

Paul David Fort, 52, Lapel, passed away Monday, February 25, 2008, at St. Vincent Hospital in Indianapolis following a brief illness.
He was born October 7, 1955, in Noblesville to Paul and Patsy (Helterbrand) Fort and lived in Lapel his entire life.
Paul was a 1973 Lapel High School graduate and he received a bachelors degree in criminal justice from I. U. P. U. I.
He was an instructor at Lincoln College of Technology in Indianapolis and had been formerly employed by Schneider National trucking.
Paul is survived by his parents, Paul and Patsy Fort of Lapel; one brother, John (wife, Sharon) Fort of Anderson; two nieces, Sarah and Melissa Fort; and several aunts, uncles, and cousins.
Funeral services will be held at 10:30 am Friday at Scott E. Hersberger Funeral Home in Lapel with Rev. Bill Thompson officiating. Burial will follow at Brookside Cemetery in Lapel.
Visiting will be from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm Thursday and from 9:00 am until the time of the service Friday at Scott E. Hersberger Funeral Home, 1010 North Main Street, Lapel.
