Patricia L. Rector

Patricia L. Rector, 67, of Anderson, passed away on June 21, 2023.  Patricia was born on June 7, 1956 in Anderson to the late James P. Burke Sr. and Patricia (Spangler) Burke.

Patty was married to the love of her life Tom for 46 years.  She was a graduate from Anderson High School in 1975.  And in her time in high school she was very proud to be the very first girl drummer at Anderson High School.  Patty really enjoyed watching her grandkids play sports, as well as spending time with her family and friends.

Patty is survived by her loving husband, Tom Rector; son, Joseph (Steven) Smith; daughters, Kristin (Allison) Rector and Kayla (Janna) Rector; sister, Rebecca (Robert) Reardon; grandkids, Carson, Camryn, Cayden, Liam, and several nieces and nephews

She was preceded in death by her parents, son, Thomas “Tommy” Michael Rector, and her brother, James P. Burke Jr.

Memorial visitation will be from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m., Friday, July 7, 2023 at Brown-Butz-Diedring Funeral Service & Crematory, 515 E. 53^rd St., Anderson, IN, 46013.  Service will begin right after the visitation at the funeral home.  Burial at East Maplewood Cemetery.
