Ms Patricia Ann Collins

Patricia Hennigan Collins, 87, formerly of Muncie, Indiana died peacefully at St. Vincent Anderson Regional on January 16, 2017, after a courageous fight with cancer. She was born on September 30, 1929, in Muncie to the late Francis & Lena Hennigan. Patricia graduated Muncie Central in 1948, where she was active in art and choir. She attended St. Lawrence Church and was a member of St. Mary’s Church. After high school she worked in ladies fine apparel until 1967. She liked traveling in the United States and collected fine art paintings. She was an avid sports fan of football, golf, baseball, Indy Car & NASCAR Racing. Patricia is survived by her son, David Sanders (Marty Berman) of Tequesta, FL; daughter, Rebecca Bynum (John Bynum) of Anderson; sister, Rita Gatzemeyer (Marvin Gatzemeyer); grandchildren, Carol Jackson Hale (Ron Hale) of Anderson, Eric Jackson (Christina Tapp) of Indianapolis; great grandchildren, Erik Jackson of Indianapolis, Brian Jackson of Muncie, Patrick Tobin of Anderson, & Angel Tapp of Indianapolis; great-great grandchildren, Kenny, Emilia, & Eve; and several nieces & nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; sister, Frances Hennigan; brothers, Jerry & Mike Hennigan. Services will be at 7:00 P.M Thursday, January 19, at Brown-Butz-Diedring Funeral Service & Crematory. Visitation will be from 5:00 P.M. until time of services.
