Patricia A Martz

Patricia A. Martz, 79, of Anderson, passed away April 22, 2019, at Community Northview Care Center. Patricia was born March 10, 1940 in Anderson, the daughter of the late Carl and Virginia Seybert and was a lifelong Anderson resident. Patricia had worked for the former Citizen bank as a bookkeeper and cleaning houses. She enjoyed playing bingo, watching NASCAR races, but enjoyed all sports and had been a member of the Bethel Methodist Church. She is survived by her sons, Paul “Buddy” (Ronda) Martz and Jerald “Jay” (Jackie) Martz; granddaughters, Jessica (Geo) Mesa and Chasity Lynn McCord; 3 great grandchildren; sisters, Connie (Harvey) Sanderson and Sandra Bandy; brothers, Karl (Kathy) Seybert and Eddie (Mary) Seybert; sister-in-law, Paula Sue Bailey; special friends, Les Hallgarth and Margie Chapman; several nieces and nephews; and a kitty cat, Abby. She was preceded in death by her husband, Byron Martz; sister, Shirley Cottingham; and a brother-in-law, Emmett Bailey. Services will be Noon, Friday at Brown-Butz-Diedring Funeral Service & Crematory with Pastor Dennis Zirkle officiating. Burial will follow at East Maplewood Cemetery. Visitation will be two hours prior to the service. The family is grateful for the compassionate care that Patricia received by the staff at the Community Northview Care Center.
