Patrica Lee Carroll Craig

August 20, 1924 — January 13, 2020

Patricia Lee Carroll Craig, 95, was born August 20, 1924 to Leland E. Carroll and Mary Dufendach Carroll. Pat grew up in Knightstown, Indiana and was a graduate of Knightstown High School and Purdue University. She married James R. Craig on Oct. 21, 1944 and resided in Pendleton her entire adult life. She was a member of Pendleton First United Methodist Church, Pi Beta Phi Sorority at Purdue, and Tri Kappa Sorority in Pendleton as well as several bridge clubs.She is survived by her six children, Tim Craig (Ana) of Hyogo, Japan, Peter Craig, Katy Burke (John), Annie Wills (Steve), Sally CHildress (Tom), and Tom Craig (Tracy) all of Pendleton, 15 grandchildren, Emily Yu, Charlie McCord, Jenny Herman, Tami French, Brian Burke, Heather Chandler, Jimmy Wills, Becky Harbert, Clint Childress, Liz Childress, Jake Childress, Ryan Cauley, Matt Cauley, Morgan Craig and Molly Kacey, and several great grandchildren. She is also survived by a sister, Virginia Shively of West Lafayette, and a brother, Joseph Carroll of Centre Hall, Pennsylvania.Patricia was preceded in death by her husband, and parents, brother Robert Carroll, grandson Danny Craig, and great grandson Max McCord.Special thanks to our fabulous caregivers from Clover Senior Care and to the dedicated team from Paradigm Hospice.A celebration of life service will be held at 6 p.m., Friday, Jan. 17, 2020 at Wilson St. Pierre Funeral Service and Crematory, Lahm Chapel, 211 E. State St., Pendleton, Indiana 46064 with Reverend Michelle Cobb officiating. A visitation will be held from 2 to 6 p.m., Friday, Jan. 17, 2020 at Lahm Chapel, Pendleton.In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the South Madison Community Foundation.
