Pam Filbrun

Pam Filbrun, 69, of Markleville, passed away unexpectedly July 11, 2018 at St. Vincent Hospital in Anderson.She was born on July 16, 1948 in Foley, Alabama and was a Markleville resident for 32 years.Pam was a 1966 graduate of Pendleton Heights High School.Over the years she worked as a phlebotomist at Chambersburg Hospital, Marion Hospital and St. John’s Hospital.However one of her greatest accomplishments- being a wonderful wife, mother and grandmother not only to her immediate family, but to so many others.She was an amazing lady and showed us all the meaning of grace and mercy.A prime example of Jesus walking among us, caring for others and always finding the best in us.Survivors include her husband Wayne Filbrun whom she married, October 7, 1967; children, Shelley (Danny) Dishroon of Markleville, Thad (Diane) Filbrun of Anderson, Aaron (Jamie) Filbrun of Markleville, Matthew (Candy) Filbrun of Markleville, David Filbrun of Markleville and Jennifer Filbrun of Colorado; siblings, Greg (Linda) Cowles of Ingalls and Eva Marr of Smiths Gove, Kentucky; grandchildren, Laina Dishroon, Kyndall Dishroon, Cole Dishroon, James (Cheryl) McCauley, Christie McCauley, Austin Filbrun, Haley Filbrun, William Seabring, Micole Seabring, Ashley Brewer, Carin Brewer and Grace Filbrun; a great granddaughter, Leanna McCauley; many nieces and nephews.She was preceded in death by her father, Bill Frampton; parents, Ferne (Imel) and Bob Cowles; brother, Bobby Cowles; and grandson, Kyle Filbrun.Services will be held at 10 a.m., Monday, July 16, 2018 at Wilson St. Pierre Funeral Service and Crematory, Lahm Chapel, 211 E. State St., Pendleton, Indiana 46064 with Pastor Ray Renner officiating. Burial will follow in Mt. Zion Cemetery, Ovid, Indiana. Visitation from 2 to 6 p.m., Sunday, July 15, 2018 at Lahm Chapel, Pendleton.
