Orabelle Giddings

Orabelle Giddings, 71, Arcadia, passed away Thursday, October 20, 2011, at her home following an extended illness.
She was born on July 22, 1940, in Muncie, Indiana to Ralph and Mary (Sylvester) Wells.
Orabelle had been an Avon Lady for many years.
She was a member of the White River Christian Church in Noblesville. She enjoyed gardening on a major scale and taking evening car rides.
She is survived by her husband of 53 years, Charles Giddings; three children, Patty (husband, Dan) Waugh of Noblesville, Lori (husband, Richard) Gray of Gosport, and Rich Giddings of Arcadia; four grandchildren, Lindsay Litzelman, Nichole Gray, Jessie Litzelman, and Matthew Litzelman; one brother, David Wells of Anderson.
She was preceded in death by her parents; and one sister, Marian Gerber.
A funeral service will be held at 10:30 am Monday, October 24, 2011, at Scott E. Hersberger Funeral Home in Lapel with Pastor Timothy Brock officiating. Burial will follow in Brookside Cemetery, Lapel.
Visitation will be from 2:00 pm to 5:00 pm Sunday, October 23, 2011, at Scott E. Hersberger Funeral Home, 1010 North Main Street, Lapel.
