Ola Elizabeth Boone

Ola Elizabeth (Gee) Boone, 91, Noblesville, passed away Monday, January 11, 2016, at Prairie Lakes Health Campus in Noblesville following a brief illness.

She was born on May 24, 1924, in Rutherford County, Tennessee to Orell and Sallie Sue (Rieves) Gee.

Ola retired in 1982 from the former Delco Remy division of General Motors in Anderson after over 30 years of employment.

She was a member of Trinity United Methodist Church; and the United Daughters of the Confederacy.

She is survived by two children, Brian (wife, Diann) Boone of Carmel and Vicki (husband, Bruce) Copeland of Noblesville; and four granddaughters, Natalie, Lindsay, and Sally Boone, and Betsy Copeland.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband of 44 years, Lloyd W. Boone; two brothers, and three sisters.

A funeral service will be held at 11:00 am Saturday, January 16, 2016, at Scott E. Hersberger Funeral Home in Lapel with Dr. Wayne Caldwell officiating. Burial will follow in Brookside Cemetery, Lapel.

Visitation will be from 10:00 am to 11:00 am Saturday, January 16, 2016, at Scott E. Hersberger Funeral Home, 1010 North Main Street, Lapel.

Memorial contributions may be made to Cystic Fibrosis, Parkinson's or the Epilepsy Foundation.
