Oda L. Amick

Oda L. Amick, 93, of Anderson, passed away at her home on Monday, December 3, 2018 with family by her side. She was born November 2, 1925, in Keno, KY, the daughter of Rev. Pat and Ollie (Wilson) Dobbs. She attended Mt. Union School and Mt. Union Church in Keno before moving to Anderson in 1943. In 1945, Oda married Robert Amick and together they raised their family. Oda is survived by her daughter, Lois (Keith) Harney of Benton, KY; grandchildren, Jennifer Teasley, Alan Blake, and Robert W. Amick; and great-grandchildren Kendall, Logan, Isiah and Lakin. She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert and son, Wayne Amick. Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. Saturday at Brown-Butz-Diedring Funeral Service & Crematory with Pastor Dennis Zirkle officiating.
