Norman D. Barnard, 90, passed away Sunday, September 16, 2018, at the Ellison House in Greenfield. He was born June 11, 1928, in Mohawk to the late Jesse & Dora (Zaph) Barnard. Norman graduated from New Palestine High School in 1946. He worked for Delco Remy for 38 years, having retired in 1987. He was member and former elder at Wilkinson Church of Christ. He was also a member of the NRA and past member of the Hoosier Beagle Club. He is survived by his children, Kerry (wife, Linda) Barnard and Karen (husband, Jerome) Willis; grandchildren, Kyle (wife, Natalie) Barnard, Karman (husband, Eric) Williams, Michael Willis, Kevin (wife, Angie) Willis, & Kelly (husband, Jake) Alexander; brother, Kenneth Barnard; and sister, Ruth LaMasters. He was preceded in death by his wife, Nina (Railsback); siblings, Ora, Edgar, Maxine, Everett, & Georgia. Services will be at 11:00 a.m. Thursday, September 20, at Condo & St. Pierre Funeral Service & Crematory, Wilkinson. Burial will be at McCray Cemetery. Visitation will be from 9 a.m. until the time of the services.
