Norma M. White, 86, Noblesville, passed away Wednesday, December 27, 2006, at her son's residence in Noblesville following a brief illness.
She was born on March 17, 1920, in Hamilton County, Indiana to Clinton and Bertha (Huffman) Thompson.
Norma was a member of the Prairie Baptist Church, the Ladies Aid of the Church and she was a former Sunday School teacher. She had served as room mother at Durbin Elementary when her daughter was in school.
She is survived by two children, Douglas (wife, Donna) White of Noblesville, and Peggy (husband, Jerry) Thomas of Arcadia; four grandchildren, Douglas (wife, Tammy) White, Diane (Terry) Dunn all of Noblesville, Shaun Wilson, and Jake Thomas both of Arcadia; and seven great-grandchildren, Kylee White, Brandi White, Kris White, Aaron White, Shaylin White, Connor Nail, Kaytlin Nail.
She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband, Memory B. White.
Services will be held at 10:30 AM Saturday at Prairie Baptist Church in Noblesvillle with Rev. Bob Williams officiating. Burial will be at the Prairie Memorial Cemetery.
Friends may call from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM Friday at the Scott E. Hersberger Funeral Home in Lapel.
