Norma E. Mangas

. Norma E. Mangas, 95, Anderson, went home to be with her Lord on February 13, 2019, at the home of her daughter in Gaston after an extended illness. She was born May 6, 1923, in Marshall, IL, the daughter of the late Charles and Myrtle (Irwin) Shade. She Moved to Anderson after marrying Berley Morris in 1946. Norma was a member of the United in Christ Church/Primrose and a former member of Chesterfield Christian Church. She is survived by her daughters, Sandra (Steve) Price of Gaston, Karla (Jerry) McKay of Pendleton; one son, John (Stephanie) Mangas of Brentwood, CA; grandchildren, Jennifer McKay, Kristin (Derek) Keister, Karey Morris, Courtney Mangas, Corey Mangas and Dillion (Aileen) Mangas, Jenny and Jason Bates, Larry and Allison Gaines; two great grandchildren, Kaden Keister and Koen Morris. She was preceded in death by her son, Charles Lee Morris; and husbands, Berley Morris and Robert Mangas. The family would like to thank Primrose Retirement nursing staff, Kindred Hospice and nurse Sarah and care giver Lisa for all their care and concerns. Service will be at 2:00 P.M. Monday at Brown-Butz-Diedring Funeral Service & Crematory with Pastor Samuel T. Jackson officiating. Burial will be in Anderson Memorial Park Cemetery.
