Noah Clinton Cantrell, 81, Anderson, passed away December 12, 2014 at Rawlins House in Pendleton after an extended illness.
He was born August 25, 1933, in Paynesville, West Virginia, the son of the late Wilburn H. and Lady Bell (Rowe) Cantrell. He moved to Anderson in 1954 and retired after 38 years from the Container Corp. Noah was a member of the Eagles Lodge, National Bowling Association and the Gun Club.
He is survived by his wife OF 57 years, Linda Cantrell of Anderson; five children, Ronald L. (Rhonda) Cantrell of Anderson, Jesse E. (Gloria Jean) Cantrell of Terre Haute, Sandra “Sandy” D. Railey of Okalahoma City, OK, Deborah A. (Joseph) Kaminski-Bustos of Carmel and Rhonda L (Ramiro) Ramirez of Anderson; two sisters and one brother, Barbara (Robert) White of Anderson, Ella Jones of Pendleton and Otis (Peggy) Cantrell of Alexandria; also surviving are 14 grandchildren, 17 great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. Adored his cats Tiffany and Diamond and made homes for many other pets through the years.
He was preceded in death by a grandson, Sean Noah; and brothers, Leonard Cantrell, James Cantrell, Wilson Cantrell, Alexander Cantrell, and Wilburn Cantrell.
Service will be at 10:00 A.M. Tuesday at Brown-Butz-Diedring Funeral Service & Crematory with Bob Bell officiating. Burial will be in Anderson Memorial Park Cemetery.
Friends may call from 4:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M. Monday at the funeral home.
