Nedlene Johnson Renner

Nedlene Johnson "Johnnie" Renner, 90, Noblesville, passed away Friday, March 8, 2013, at Harbour Manor Health and Living Community in Noblesville following a brief illness. She was born on January 29, 1923, in Big Stone Gap, Virginia to John and Eliza (Johnson) Johnson. She graduated from Elwood High School. Nedlene retired 1989 from the former Delco Remy division of General Motors in Anderson. She was a member of the Daughter's of the American Revolution, the Noblesville Senior Citizens, the Livsay Historical Society and enjoyed working on geneaology, gardening and flowers. She enjoyed spending time with her children and grandchildren. She is survived by her husband of 65 years, Rex Renner; four children, Greg Renner of Estill Springs, TN, Randy (wife, Cathy) Renner of Noblesville, Trish Renner of Indianapolis, and Spencer Renner of San Francisco, CA; two grandchildren, Angie (husband, Matt) Morgan of Noblesville and Mike (wife, Jessie) Renner of Noblesville; and four great-grandsons, Drew and Dylan Morgan, and Rex and Cameron Renner. She was preceded in death by her parents; and fourteen brothers and sisters. A graveside service will be held at 11:30 am Tuesday, March 12, 2013, at Brookside Cemetery in Lapel. Visitation will be from 10:30 am to 11:30 am Tuesday, March 12, 2013, at Scott E. Hersberger Funeral Home, 1010 North Main Street, Lapel. Memorial contributions may be made to Alzeheimers Association.
