Nathan D. Johnson

Pastor Nathan D. Johnson, 48, Noblesville, passed away Thursday, January 21, 2010, at Riverview Hospital in Noblesville following a brief illness.
He was born on January 5, 1962, in Anderson, Indiana to Irvin and Pearl (Kuehlewind) Johnson.
He a received a Bachelors Degree from Spurgeon Baptist Bible College in Mulberry, FL.
Nathan was serving as Pastor of Prairie Baptist Church in rural Noblesville and also served at Griffith Baptist Church in Griffith. He was associated with Sports World Ministries for several years.
He is survived by his wife, Anita (Cavaletto) Johnson; two daughters, Abigail Grace Johnson and Lydia Joy Johnson both at home; his parents, Irvin F. and Pearl Johnson of New Port Richey, FL; two sisters, Ruth (husband, James) Pletcher of New Palestine, and Rebecca (husband, Richard) Vannatta of Anderson; and his mother-in-law, Mary Cavaletto of Indianapolis.
He was preceded in death by his father-in-law, Frank Cavaletto.
Funeral service will be held at 11:30 am Monday, January 25, 2010, at Prairie Baptist Church in rural Noblesville with Pastor Michael Poole officiating. Burial will follow in Prairie Memorial Cemetery, Noblesville.
Visitation will be from 2:00 pm to 6:00 pm Sunday, January 24, 2010, at Scott E. Hersberger Funeral Home, 1010 North Main Street, Lapel.
Memorial contributions may be made to a trust fund set up for the family of Nathan Johnson, c/o Prairie Baptist Church, 14790 East 206th Street, Noblesville, Indiana 46060.
