Nanette L. Porter

Nanette L. Porter, 90, passed away Thursday, July 12, 2018 at her residence. She was born January 1, 1928 in Kennard the daughter of the late Walter and Ethel (Brookshire) Payne. Nanette was a homemaker that enjoyed needlework, collecting paperweights and antique irons. She was a member of Eastern Star#116 of New Castle, Kennard Brotherhood and Sisterhood and Kennard Christian Church. Survivors include her husband William Porter, daughter, Melissa Lindsey of Indianapolis; son, Mark Porter of Avon Park, FL, grandsons, Patrick Porter of Indianapolis; Jeremy Porter of Martinsville, Jesse Lindsey III of Indianapolis, great grandchildren, Gavin Porter of Martinsville; Teran Porter of Indianapolis; Devon Porter of Indianapolis; Alexis McGregor of Martinsville; Jordan Porter of Indianapolis. She was preceded in death by brothers, Robert and Keith Payne. Graveside service will be held at Glen Cove Cemetery in Knightstown at a later date.
