Nancy Lee Smith

Nancy Lee Smith passed away unexpectedly at Community Hospital in Anderson on December 21, 2017.Nancy was born May 28th, 1957 in Muncie Indiana to Patsy and Buddy Lewis. She resided in Anderson for 29 years. She was a full time homemaker raising her two boys Travis and Tim. She had a green thumb and enjoyed growing plants and flowers, camping and boating and most important of all, spending time and helping family. Nancy had one of the biggest hearts that anyone could ever imagine and always put others before her by giving anything they would desperately need. She was a true angel on earth and now is most defiantly an angel in Heaven. She will be sadly missed as she touched many hearts during her short time living among us. Nancy is survived by her mother, Patsy Lewis of Anderson; sons, Travis (Brandy) Smith of Anderson, and Timothy Smith of Anderson; grandchildren Colton Smith, Ethan and Oliver Motsinger of Middletown; sisters, Susan Dave Carter of Muncie, Kay Fisher of Hartford City; nieces and nephews, Krista (Chad) Fisher, Dustin Fisher, Cassandra Kimbrell, and Matt Carter. She is preceded in death by her father, Buddy Lewis of Muncie; brothers Robin, Rainbow, and Roger Lewis of Muncie and Rick Fisher of Hartford City. A funeral is scheduled for 2:00 pm Thursday, Dec 28th at Brown- Butz -Diedring Funeral Service & Crematory at 515 East 53rd St Anderson, IN 46013.
