Nancy Joan (Campbell) Huntzinger, 90, died peacefully at her home on October 13, 2024. She was born on September 3, 1934 in Indianapolis. She and Warren maintained their connection with Purdue, participated in the John Purdue Club and attended basketball and football games. Nancy and Warren endowed 2 scholarships at Purdue in memory of their own mothers, both college graduates. Nancy also enjoyed spending summer weekends with family and friends at Dewart Lake in northern Indiana. Nancy and her husband supported a pastor's school now located in Zambia, Africa to educate pastors to spread the word of the Lord in Africa as well as supporting economic development in Zambia including honey manufacturing, a wood working shop, a fishery and various forms of sustainable agriculture. They also provided college educations at Purdue for 2 Zambian students. Nancy and Warren made numerous trips to Zambia in support of their work there, often accompanied by one (or more) of their grandchildren.

Nancy is survived by her four children, Lynne (Huntzinger) Lawyer (spouse Mike Lawyer); Joseph K. Huntzinger and his children, Julia and Tyler Huntzinger (wife Daisy); John A. The family extends special thanks to all of Nancy's caregivers (Deanie, Marianne, Joyce, Shannon, Mary Lou and Misty) who helped her during the last 2 years of her life.
