Nancy Hardy Dyer, 78, passed away unexpectedly on April 3, 2022 in Albuquerque, New Mexico. Nancy was born on June 9, 1943 to Jack W. Dyer and Jeanne H. Dyer. Nancy grew up in the family home at 323 Taylor Street, Pendleton. She graduated from Pendleton High School and Indiana University. Much of her adult life was spent living in the Tampa/St. Petersburg, Florida area and working for the St. Petersburg Newspaper in the graphics department. She then relocated, with her father, to Albuquerque in 1996, to be with her uncle, Ted Dyer’s family. She was preceded in death by her parents, Jack and Jeanne Dyer, younger sister, Sara Dyer, and stepmother, Helen Horne Dyer. Nancy had a caring and loving nature, loved to tell funny stories and was a prolific reader all her life. Just name a book and Nancy had already read it. She will be greatly missed by friends and family. Interment will take place at the Fall Creek Friends Cemetery in Pendleton, Indiana. Arrangements entrusted to Wilson St. Pierre Funeral Service and Crematory, Lahm Chapel, Pendleton.
