Nancy A. Murray

Nancy A. Murray, 83, of Frankton, passed away on Sunday, February 4, 2024, at Community Hospital in Anderson following brief illness.

She was born on September 3, 1940, in Anderson, Indiana to Enos and Marian (Paul) Walter.

She was a graduate of Pendleton High School. She was a homemaker and had also been a registrar for the Madison County court system.

She was a member of Perkinsville Community Church. She was a member of the Madison County Home Ec Club. She loved spending time with her church friends and her family.

Nancy is survived by two children, William (wife, Lisa) Murray of Perkinsville and Marianne (husband, Jon) White of Anderson; four grandchildren, LeAnn Mills, Zachary White, Shane White, Sarah White; seven great-grandchildren, Maverick, Arrika, Aydann, Felix, Vivian, Bethany and Natalie; one great-great-grandchild, Billeigh; two sisters, Janet New of Pendleton and Judy Clements of Pendleton; and her sister-in-law and best friend, Pat Hall.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Richard Murray; her parents; and two sisters, Shirley Humbles and Margaret Spitzer.

Cremation will take place.

A memorial service will be held at 1:00 PM on Saturday, March 2, 2024, at Perkinsville Community Church, 2783 North Washington Street, Anderson, Indiana 46011 with Rev. John Pflum officiating. Burial of ashes will take place at Neese Cemetery in Madison County, Indiana.

Visitation will be from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM on Saturday, March 2, 2024, at the church.
