Mychia Evelyn (Filbrun) Williams, 31, was born on November 22, 1987 and died unexpectedely on January 11, 2019. She was the daughter of Levi Filbrun and Christine Peters/Stepmom, Sharol Filbrun. She was loved and raised by Dale Filbrun, Norma (Mom) (Filbrun) Talbert and Papa John Talbert. She was loved and will be missed by her beloved cat, Boo Boo.Mychia is survived by her husband, Micheal Williams, two sisters, Rachel (Filbrun) Walker and husband, Aaron and Faith (Filbrun) Dix and husband, Justin; aunts and sisters, Lydia (Filbrun) Busald and husband, Dave and Leah (Filbrun) Fuller and husband, David; step sisters, Rebekah (Talbert) Bowman and husband, Myron and Tammy (Talbert) Ferrish and husband, Greg; step brother, Matthew Talbert and wife, Shena’; many nieces, nephews and cousins. Micheal and Mychia were married on March 24, 2012. Their marriage was a perfect example for the rest of us.She was preceded in death by her grandpa, Dale Filbrun; her uncle, Luke Filbrun; and a step niece, Seriah Talbert.Mychia loved going to young folks, especially volley ball games. She loved people and never knew a stranger. Every one was her “best friend”. She also loved to sing all the old hymns. Her favorite hymn was “Faithful Love”. She was involved with Best Buddies, the assistant manager of the girls Basketball team at PHHS, and was involved with Madison County Special Olympics Bowling team. Mychia always had a smile and a very positive attitude. She was a peacemaker and was loved by everyone who knew her.We look forward to that glorious day of Christ’s return, when we shall be caught up and meet him Him in the air. We have no doubt that Mychia will be there to welcome us home!Services at 10 a.m., Wednesday, January 16, 2019 at Fall Creek Meetinghouse (Old German Baptist Brethren Church (New Conference), 3232 W. 25th St., Anderson, Indiana 46011 officiated by Russell Bowman, Raymond Oyler and Gary Stull. Burial will follow in Pleasant Valley Cemetery, west of Pendleton.Visitation from 2-5 and 6-8 p.m., Tuesday, January 15, 2019 at the Fall Creek Meetinghouse.Memorial contributions may be made to Madison County Special Olympics.Arrangements entrusted to Wilson St. Pierre Funeral Service and Crematory, Lahm Chapel, 211 E.
