Marilyn Jeanne Schuster, 87, passed away, Tuesday, October 4, 2022, after an extended illness.
She was born September 24, 1935, in Anderson to the late, Leon Stanley & Helen Maxine (Conner) Sacilowski.
Marilyn graduated from Anderson High School in 1953. She worked as dental assistant for Dr. Jim Worster then became office manager for Dr. Paul Worster & Dr. Max Culler. After Dr. Paul Worster retired, she continued as office manager under Dr. Diane Johnson. Marilyn was an avid tennis player and member of the US Tennis Association. While she did enjoy many sports, tennis was her love, having received seven Madison County Titles. She also won many single & mixed double titles and received ranking at the state level. Marilyn loved rooting for the Chicago Bears, and Indiana Fever, as a season ticket holder, attending numerous games with her family. She enjoyed helping people, and most of all, spending time with her beloved family.
Marilyn is survived by her son, M. Gary (wife, Deborah Law) Schuster, Jr; grandchildren, Ashley (husband, Gary) Lauderdale & Adrienne J. (husband, Mario) Schuster, both of Texas; and several loving cousins. She was preceded in death by her parents; and her brother, Richard Sacilowski.
A Celebration of Life will be at 2:00 pm Tuesday, November 22, at Brown-Butz-Diedring Funeral Service & Crematory.
Visitation will be from Noon until the time of services at the funeral home.
