Ms. Linda Hoffman

Linda Sue Hoffman, 81, passed away Thursday, December 29, 2022.

Linda was born December 10, 1941, in Anderson to the late, John & Geneva (Weston) Heiden. She graduated from St. Mary High School and worked for the City of Anderson for a short time. She resided in Florida for 20 years before moving back to Indiana. While in Florida, she retired from Osceola County as an administrative assistant.

Linda spent her time after retirement crocheting, knitting, playing cards, and rooting for her favorite driver in NASCAR. She loved spending time with her family and beloved cats.

She is survived by her daughters, Melody (husband, Jim) Sorrell & Lori (husband, Greg) Leach; grandchildren, Michael (Chris), Krista (Jason), Malarie (Dusty), Megan (Brandon), & Jordan (Bridget); twelve great grandchildren; sisters, Genny Haskett & Debbie Helterbrand; and several nieces & nephews.  She was preceded by her husband, Maynard Hoffman.

Services will be at 1pm Friday, January 6 at Brown-Butz-Diedring Funeral Service & Crematory. Burial will be at Anderson Memorial Park Cemetery.

Visitation will be from 11am until the time of services at the funeral home.

Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society or to Muncie Animal Rescue Fund.
