Virginia Faye Ramsey, 71, passed away peacefully on Saturday, December 17, 2022, after a brief illness, in MICU at I.U. Health Hospital in Indianapolis.
Faye was born on October 6, 1951 to father, David Stover & mother, Virginia (Reeder) Stoeer. Faye graduated from Anderson High School before Anderson Nursing School and receiving her state LPN nursing license.
She was employed by St. John’s Hospital, then St. Vincent Hospital for many years, and currently at Primrose Assisted Living Facility, all in Anderson.
Faye married Robert Edward “Ed” Ramsey on May 15, 1979, for 43 years and is survived by him. She is also survived by mother, Virginia Stover; brother, Keith (wife, Jeanette) Stover; daughters, Amber R. Ramsey & Amanda Y. Moore; stepson, Robert A. Ramsey; grandchildren, Jasmine (husband, Brittian) Whichard, Victoria Arvin, Olivia Arvin, & Bryon Carroll; one great grandchild, Logan Dean Whichard; and nephew, Marcus Stover. She was preceded in death by her father, David Stover.
Faye was a fun loving and affectionate soul. Her favorite pastime was spending time with her family especially her grandchildren. Her favorite place to visit was with her great grandson, Logan Whichard.
Visitation will be from 2-4 Wednesday, December 28, at Brown-Butz-Diedring Funeral Service & Crematory. A remembrance of service led by minister Jim Harrison of Columbus Avenue Church of Christ, will follow the visitation at 4pm. A presentation from the Nurse’s Honor Guard will accompany the service.
