Christine “Cricket” Rodenberger, 60, of Ingalls, passed away on May 27, 2022 after a sudden illness. Cricket was born on June 21, 1961 in Mansfield, OH to Loren and Peggy (Shaffer) Volz. She married the love of her life, Tim Rodenberger, on December 13, 1980 and they were married for 41 beautiful years. Cricket owned “Cricket’s Daycare” and kept her in-home daycare running for 22 years. She enjoyed crafting and sewing. All of her children and grandchildren received personalized blankets, when they were first born and then another when they got older. She was a gardener and loved playing in the dirt. She will always be remembered for her Christmas candies and ornaments. Every year, her family would get a special Christmas ornament. She was also known for her exquisite birthday cakes. They were personalized to the birthday boy or girl and they were the most delicious cakes in the world. The most important thing about Cricket was her giving nature and her heart of gold. She always put others needs in front of her own and never thought twice about it. She was truly an angel on earth.
