Mrs. Brenda Lee Ellison-Hall

October 10, 1961 — March 18, 2022

Brenda Lee Ellison-Hall, 60, of Anderson, passed away on March 18, 2022 in the comfort of her own home surrounded by her loving family. She was born in Anderson, Indiana on October 10, 1961 to James “Sam” and Mary (Cox) Ellison.
She was a 1979 graduate of Madison Heights High School, and very proud to be a Pirate. Brenda was a “Jill of all trades”, her work ethic, dedication, loyalty, and commitment were unmatched by most, many times working more than one job to bring her goals and dreams to fruition; Brenda truly saw the value in life and love.
Brenda worked in the Real Estate, Mortgage and Lending, and Hospitality Industries. Many of those years at the “Three Pigs” where she met several people who became lifelong friends. As a young girl, Brenda started her working career alongside her parents and sisters in the family business “J&M Ellison Inc.” as grave diggers and grounds maintenance for several cemeteries throughout Madison County. Brenda was a member of the American Legion and a 42-year member of the Women’s Bowling Association. She was once Anderson’s youngest bowler at the age of 4. In addition to bowling, her other passions include fishing, reading and word jumbles, but most importantly, spending time with her family and friends. Words cannot describe how much she was loved or the sorrow we will all feel without her radiant presence, after all, in her words, she was “Top Shelf Baby”; and she truly was.
She is survived by her loving husband and best friend, Ralph Hall; mother, Mary Ellison; daughters, Katrina (Larry) Bigham, Kendra (Kris) McDaniel; grandchildren, Chase, Kadie, Trevor, Megan, Brendan, Asher, Braden, and Anna; great grandchildren, Bostyn, Peyton, and Addison; sisters, Angela (Steve) Fulp, Christina (Dennis) Reth; nieces, SteAnn, Amanda, Hanna; nephews, Alex and James; and her blonde “Sister from another Mister”, lifelong friend, Susan Fisher.
Brenda was preceded in death by her father, James “Sam” Ellison.
