Mr. Paul Hervey Spegal

Paul Hervey Spegal, 75, passed peacefully surrounded by his family Tuesday, December 27, 2022.

He was born May 21, 1947, in Greenfield to the late, Paul Francis & Lola Jean (Brenzendine) Spegal. Paul retired from the VA Hospital in Indianapolis where he worked numerous years as a pipefitter. He loved being outdoors whether it was camping, fishing, hunting, boating, or golfing. He adored spending time with his family and his beloved pets, especially if he was watching IU Basketball.

Paul is survived by his children, Roger (wife, Julia) Spegal, David (wife, Shelly) Spegal, & Chad (wife, Lisa) Spegal; grandchildren, Darius, Kaylee, Brady, Allison (husband, Dalton), & Jordan; one great grandchild on the way; special friend, Mary Smalley; six stepchildren; siblings and in-laws, Bill & Debbie Spegal, Dennis & Beth Spegal, Tom & Lisa Spegal, Marcia & Fred Stephens, Jamie Pierce, Sheryl Spegal, Tammy & Jeff McClellan, Paula & David Irwin; four legged companions, Lucky & Belle; and several nieces & nephews. He was preceded in death by his wife, Shirley (Isaacs) Spegal; nephew, Jerry; and nieces, Danielle and Shellie Caveletto.

Services will be 11:00 AM Friday, December 30, at Condo & St. Pierre Funeral Service & Crematory. Burial will be at McCray Cemetery.

Visitation will be from 4-8:00 pm Thursday at the funeral home.

In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the Humane Society of Hancock County or the American Cancer Society.
