Mr. Marvin George Treutel

Marvin George Treutel, 81, of Anderson, passed away on March 13, 2022 at Ascension St. Vincent, Anderson. He was born on December 8, 1940 in Marshfield, Wisconsin to the late George and Mable (Hopfensperger) Treutel.
Marvin Graduated from Marshfield High School in 1958, then served his country in the National Guard. He retired from the Federal Disaster Assistance after 20 years of service. He enjoyed grilling, boating, cars and music, having played guitar once with Buddy Holly.
He is survived by his wife of 30 years, Karen (Morgan) Treutel of Anderson; children, Brandon (Katelynn Cheever) Treutel, Marvin (Shirley) Treutel, Mitch (Jodie) Treutel, Michael (Anne) Treutel, Brian (Jennifer) Kordes, Rachelle (Sheena Stoner) Stine, Kim Gibson, Kayleen (James) Rohrer, Alia Kordes; brother in-law, James Kress; several grandchildren, several great grandchildren; and nephew, James Kress Jr.
Marvin was preceded in death by his parents and a sister, Joyce Kress.
A private Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
