Mr. Jerry L. Hodson Sr.

Mr. Jerry L. Hodson, Sr., 80, of Anderson, passed away unexpectedly on July 3, 2022 at his home. Jerry was born on October 21, 1941 in Anderson, IN to the late John E. and Wanda (Farlow) Hodson. Jerry married the love of his life, Marleen Breece, and spent 46 glorious years together. Jerry faithfully served our country in the United States Army. After his honorable discharge from the Army, Jerry began working for Guide Lamp as a Health & Safety Representative and he worked for 34 years before his retirement. He was a member of the Local Union 662 and he was a loyal member for years. Jerry loved golfing, fishing, boating, and cars. Most importantly, he loved his family and spending time with his grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Jerry will be dearly missed by his wife, Marleen; his children, Misty (Billy) Ellis, Jerry (Rose) Hodson, Jr., and Jacqueline Hodson; his grandchildren, Zachary Wensel, Brittany Ellis, Quentin Ellis, Jason Hodson, Amanda Hodson, JJ Hodson, Buford Hatter, and Christopher Hodson; her great-grandchild, Carter Pierce and many other great-grandchildren; and his brother, Johnny E. Hodson.

He was preceded in death by his parents; his son, Jeffrey E. Hodson; and his sister, Sandy Hodson.
