Mr. Jack Ervin Smith

Jack Ervin Smith, 84, of Lee County, GA, died May 30, 2022 at his residence.  A graveside funeral service will be held on Monday, June 6, 2022 at 1 p.m. at Anderson Memorial Park Cemetery.

Mr. Smith was born in Anderson, IN on June 21, 1937 to Ivan and Marcella Smith.  He served in the Indiana National Guard for eight years. Mr. Smith was employed with Delco Remy in Anderson before moving to Albany, GA in 1986 where he continued his employment until retiring in after thirty years.  He was a member and Deacon at Westview Baptist Church in Albany and was a former member of The Loyal Order of The Moose # 1285.  He loved to dance, play golf and go to the Moose and VFW.

Survivors include his wife, Sharon Tolar Smith of Leesburg, GA, a son, Brian (Susan) Smith of Shelbyville, IN, a daughter, Christina Smith of Indianapolis, IN, a step-son, Michael (Renee) Worley of Leesburg, GA, a step-daughter, Michelle Worley (David) Procise of Melbourne, FL, a brother, Larry (Louellen) Smith of Anderson, IN, a sister, Dixie Friggle of Anderson, IN and eleven grandchildren.
