Harold “Bud” Eugene Cain, 78, passed away Saturday, June 3, 2023, surrounded by his loving family.
He was born May 1, 1945, in Anderson to the late, Harold L. & Lelia V. (Scott) Cain. Bud was a Veteran of the U.S. Air Force and was a member of the Middletown American Legion Post #216. He retired from Delco-Remy having been a millwright. He was always working especially in his “office”, which others knew to be the garage. There wasn’t a small engine or machine that he didn’t work on. When not tinkering in the garage he would be hunting, enjoying the casino, opening a can of dessert, or most definitely be found fishing. He enjoyed many fishing trips to Minnesota, but his favorite fishing was in the creek with his grandkids.
Bud is survived by his beloved wife of 55 years, Pepi (Ramos) Cain; children, Darlene (husband, Brent) Clevenger, Macarena (husband, Tim) Osburn, & Anthony (Tabatha Allender) Cain; brother, Pete (wife, Toni) Cain; grandchildren and fishing buddies, Nicholas (wife, Sam) Clevenger, Danielle (husband, Jimmy) Killion, Montana (fiancé, Matthew Wildridge) Patterson, Lee Patterson, Hannah & Whitney Cain; great-grandchildren, Emmitt, Annie, & Mason; nephews & niece, Bobby (wife, Stacey) Cain, Brian Cain, & Jen (husband, Chuck Hawkins) Cain. He was preceded by his brother & sister-in-law, Dick & Vikki Cain; sister, Judy Cain; and son-in-law, Michael Patterson.
Services will be at 4pm Friday at Brown-Butz-Diedring Funeral Service & Crematory.
Visitation will be from 2pm until the time of services at the funeral home.
