Dennis R. Hodge, 77, passed away Tuesday, October 18, 2022, at his home surrounded by his family.
He was born August 12, 1945, in Anderson to the late, Alex & Joella (Carter) Hodge. Dennis was a veteran of the U.S. Army. He graduated from Anderson College and then went on to work at General Motors, having retired as a technical trainer.
Dennis was a member of Sertoma of Madison County. He was also a member of the Killbuck Photo Guild, as his passion was photography. He also loved genealogy, travelling, golfing, and tinkering with computers.
Dennis is survived by his beloved wife of 48 years, Nancy “Nan” (Binkowski) Hodge; sons, Sean (wife, Lori) Hodge & Andy (Hoku) Hodge; grandchildren, Alex Hodge, Nathan Hodge, Eryn Hartill, Sam Hodge, Kawai, & Maxine Hodge; great granddaughters, Evelyn, Ana, Holland, Kaiya, Charlie, Bella, & Poppy; and brother, Michel (wife, Jeanie) Hodge. He was preceded in death by two brothers, Olin & Gerald Hodge.
Services will be at 11 am Monday at Brown-Butz-Diedring Funeral Service & Crematory. Burial with military honors will be at Anderson Memorial Park Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 2-6 pm Sunday and 10-11 Monday at the funeral home.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the Parkinson’s Foundation.
