Minnie P. Zook, 88, Noblesville, passed away Sunday, September 3, 2006, at Riverwalk Village in Noblesville following an extended illness.
She was born on February 9, 1918, in Clarksville, Indiana to Earl and Mary (Winkle) Purkey.
She retired in 1973 from Naval Avionics in Indianapolis.
She was a member of the Clarksville Christian Church.
She is survived by three children, Earleen (husband, Richard) Cunningham of Perkinsville, Tomas E. (wife, Eileen) Zook of Mansfield, OH, and Vernon R. (wife, Kathy) Zook of Noblesville; three sisters, Mary McDole of Durbin, Dorothy Moore of Frankton, and Betty Camp of Noblsville; nine grandchildren; eighteen great grandchildren; and thirteen great-great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Raymond L. Zook; her parents; a son, Earl Lewis Zook; and two brothers, William Purkey and John Purkey.
Services will be held at 10:00 AM Wednesday at Scott E. Hersberger Funeral Home in Lapel with Rev. Mark Aleshire officiating. Burial will be at the Brookside Cemetery in Lapel.
Friends may call from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM Tuesday at the Scott E. Hersberger Funeral Home in Lapel.
