Minnie P. Delph, 73, Fishersburg, passed away Friday, August 24, 2018, at Riverview Hospital in Noblesville.
She was born on March 7, 1945, in Baptist Ridge, Tennessee to James and Ruby (Boles) Hull .
Minnie had the biggest heart and more friends than anyone could count. She was very dedicated to her career at O-I Brockway Glass where she was a forklift operator and very in volved in the local union where she had served as president.
Lapel was Minnies home for many years until she met her love and life partner, George and relocated to Fishersburg. She loved to travel, read, drink coffee, spend time at the Eagles and enjoyed being surrounded by family and friends. She loved macaroni and cheese and was the best at cooking it.
Minnie was a member of the Prairie Baptist Church; the Lapel Eagles Aerie 4323; and the Lapel American Legion Auxiliary.
She is survived by one son, Jonathan; three grandchildren, Damion, Kaunnor, and Keinon; one great-grandson, Easton; two brothers, Charles (wife, Hattie) Hull and Cordell (wife, Nina) Hull; one sister Jo (husband, Larry) Montgomery; and her friend, Denise Wilkinson.
Minnie was preceded in death by her parents; a son, David; three brothers, Vainus, Dallas, and Stanley Hull; and three sisters, Elsie Hull, Rosie Netherton, and Betty Tebbe.
A funeral service will be held at 2:00 PM on Monday, August 27, 2018, at Scott E. Hersberger Funeral Home, 1010 North Main Street, Lapel with Jonathan Delph officiating. Burial will follow in Brookside Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 2:00 PM to 6:00 PM Sunday, August 26, 2018, at the funeral home.
