Millard Buel Hogue

Millard Buel Hogue, 88, Anderson, passed away Thursday, November 18, 2021, at Community Hospital in Anderson following a brief illness.He was born April 2, 1933 in East Prairie, Missouri to James Wesley Hogue and Etta Mae (Marrow) Hogue.Millard attended East Prairie High School.Millard served his country in the United States Army. He was a member of the Columbus Avenue Church of Christ in Anderson. He enjoyed playing golf and spending time with his family and friends. He loved his dog Hannah.He retired in 1995 from Delco Remy division of General Motors.He is survived by his wife, Shirley Hogue of Anderson; four children, Rick (Shelly) Hogue of Anderson, Vicky Barber of Chesterfield, Linda "Katie" (Jerry) Stires of Chesterfield, and Mark (Julie) Hogue of Anderson; brother, Dentise Willard Hogue of Anderson; sister Rebecca (Dustin) Smith of Florida; grandchildren, Tonya Dilts, Ryan Barber, Cheslea Bilkovic, Ashley Smalley, and Nicholas Hogue; and nine great-grandchildren. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.Millard was preceded in death by his parents, 4 brothers and a sister.A Graveside Service will be held at 1:00 PM on Wednesday, November 24, 2021, at Anderson Memorial Park Cemetery, 6805 Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Boulevard, Anderson, Indiana with Gary Meeker officiating. Burial will follow in Anderson Memorial Park Cemetery. Military rites performed by Daleville American Legion Post #446.Hersberger-Bozell Funeral Home 1010 N.
