Mildred R. Edrington

Mildred R. Edrington, 87, Arcadia, passed away December 12, 2002, at Riverview Hospital of a sudden illness.She was born on December 16, 1914, in Madison county to Emerson and Hazle (Pike) Richards. She was a member of Prairie Baptist Church, Cairo Bridge Club and the former Lapel Order of Eastern Star Chapter 457.She is survived by four children, Sharon (husband, Larry) Polk of Brookville, Eloise (husband, Terry) Urban of Noblesville, Sam (wife, Rose Ann) Edrington of Noblesville and Nancy (husband, Ken) Wylie of Aurora; 8 grandchildren and 17 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband of 63 years, Milton S. "Pat" Edrington and her parents. Services will be held at 2:00 PM Saturday at Scott E. Hersberger Funeral Home in Lapel with Rev. Tom Greenslade of Prairie Baptist Church officiating. Burial will be at Gravel Lawn Cemetery in Fortville. Friends may call from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM Friday at the Scott E. Hersberger Funeral Home in Lapel. Memorial contributions may be made to the charity of donor's choice.
