Mildred K. Stillwell

Mildred K. Stillwell, 94, of New Castle passed away of natural causes Monday evening, November 2, 2020 at her residence with her family by her side. She was born June 5, 1926 in Raysville, In. to the late Samuel and Virgie (Planck) Lewman. She retired from Dana Corporation in New Castle in 1986. She was a member of the UAW and Eastern Star #110 of Middletown formerly Sulphur Springs and was a member of the Whittier Lane Church. Mildred was an outdoors person. She camped on the Ohio River with her extended family, hiked in the woods or walked in her yard. Her past time was playing cards and bowling, but her love was spending time with her grandchildren and family gatherings. She is survived by her children, Richard (Janice) Margison of New Castle, Ronald (Deborah) Margison of Vevay, Debbie (Tom) Martin of Greenfield; stepchildren, Susan Krohse and Claudia Tapley, grandchildren; Bryant Margison , Zeb Margison, Rod, Greg and Drew Martin; step grandchildren; Hannah Wyatt, John Bradley, Mary Sars, great grandchildren; Spencer Conwell, Evan Margison ,Zaylee Margison, Cassie Jackson, Grace, Jarod and Ashlyn Martin, great great grandson; Logan Jackson; sister, Wanda (Glen) Walker. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Anthony Margison Jr., second husband, John Stillwell, siblings, Curt, Joe, Hollis, Ralph, David Lewman and Ruth Hewson, great granddaughter, Emma Martin and stepson, Steven Stillwell. Services will be held Friday, November 6, 2020 at 10 am. at Condo & St. Pierre Funeral Service in Wilkinson. Burial will follow at McCray Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home Thursday, November 5, 2020 from 5-8 pm. with Eastern Star service at 7:00 pm. Due to recent COVID-19 mandates, all guests are required to wear face coverings or masks and practice social distancing at service and visitation.
