Mildred Iris Jeffers

Mildred Iris Jeffers, 90, of Anderson, passed away on July 18, 2018 at Providence Care Center. She was born on March 27, 1928 in Bloomington to the late Ernest and Rose (Smiley) May. She worked in Housekeeping at Community Hospital, Anderson for 20 years. Mildred is survived by her son, Gary (partner, Jessie Creselious) Jeffers of Muncie; son in-law, Norbert Schott; grandchildren, Amy (Ben) Jost, Leah (Ray) Starcher; great grandchildren, Sam Jost, Sarah Jost and Miah Starcher. She was preceded in death by her husband, Albert Jeffers; daughter, Marian Cruz; son, Steven Jeffers; grandson, Paul Cruz, and several brothers and sisters. Services will be on Friday at 2:00 pm at Brown-Butz-Diedring Funeral Service & Crematory, 515 E. 53rd St., Anderson, IN 46013 with Rev. Julia Corbett-Hemeyer officiating.
