Michael Nelson Brandon

Michael Nelson Brandon, 76, of Anderson, passed away on December 8, 2021 at Bethany Pointe Health Campus in Anderson. He was born on November 10, 1945 in Anderson to the late Nelson and Dorothy (Ricker) Brandon. Michael retired as a School Administrator, teacher and Coach at various schools around central Indiana during his career. He was an active member of St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Anderson and St. Matthew Catholic Church in Indianapolis. Mike was a beloved colleague and mentor, who will surely be remembered for his keen sense of fashion, and he was a loyal and loving son, father, neighbor, and friend. His humor and incredible energy will be sorely missed. He is survived by his sons, Christopher Michael Brandon of Cicero, Michael Scott Brandon of Anderson, Connor Nelson Brandon of Indianapolis, Joseph Michael Brandon of Indianapolis; grandchildren, Sophia Kind Brandon, Sebastian Stiles Brandon; brother, Marcus Lee Brandon and many cousins and loved ones. A Funeral Mass will be held on Thursday, December 16, 2021 at 12:00 pm at St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Anderson with Rev. Robert Williams officiating. Visitation will be held on Thursday from 10:00 am to 12:00 pm at the church. Cremation will take place.
